Despite not having air conditioning, the room was cool and comfortable thanks to the two fans and the refreshing ocean breeze. The location was perfect, with easy access to the jetty and a lovely patio and balcony to enjoy. Additionally, the optional lunches were delicious and the courtyard was a great spot for breakfast or a relaxing evening. With its exotic feel and personal touch, Maison Augustin Ly is definitely a romantic haven worth visiting.

The location was perfect, just a few steps from the main square and the beach. The breakfast was delicious with fresh fruit and pastries. The terrace had an amazing view, it was perfect to watch the sunrise on new year's day. The staff was friendly and always willing to help with recommendations.

The room was too noisy, you could hear other guests walking and talking in the hallway. The bed was uncomfortable and the pillows were flat.

my recent stay in goree was amazing, but Maison Augustin Ly was even better. the courtyard, rooftop patio, and spacious rooms made for a perfect remote working environment. the owner and staff were so accommodating and even went the extra mile to get me dinner. such great value for money.

I loved staying in the historic building which had such character and charm. The breakfasts were absolutely delicious, with amazing freshly baked bread rolls, yummy fried eggs, and a tasty fruit salad. the staff were incredible, so friendly, and accommodating. They went out of their way to help us with whatever we needed and even provided some helpful local recommendations.

That the Wi-Fi signal was not strong enough in our room for us to work from there, but this wasn't really a big issue for us since we spent most of our time exploring the city. we had a fantastic time staying at this hotel and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and authentic experience in the heart of the city.
